Liveboat è stato a bordo di Carnival Magic il giorno 16 agosto, in occasione della sua seconda visita a Savona. Molto fermento al porto ed in città, per l’arrivo dei moltissimi turisti stranieri, in maggior parte americani. Noi di Liveboat Tv Channel non potevamo mancare all’evento!!!
Abbiamo quindi fatto richiesta alla Compagnia per intervistare il mitico John Heald e conoscere un po’ meglio le molte attività di bordo di questa nuovo gigante dei mari.
Abbiamo inoltre fatto richiesta per poter intervistare l’Executive Chef per avere maggiori delucidazioni sul nuovo ristorante italiano ” La cucina del Capitano “, presente a bordo in esclusiva su questa nave.
L’accoglienza a bordo è stata straordinaria, Anna la GRM ( che parlava un po’ d’italiano ) è stata di una gentilezza infinita e s’è messa subito a nostra disposizione per impostare il programma della giornata, saremmo potuti restare a bordo dal mattino alle 9.30 fino alle ore 19.
Questo lasso di tempo ci avrebbe permesso di realizzare il reportage della nave ed anche le interviste.
Anna ci hanno gentilmente offerto da bene , comunicato gli orari delle interviste e poi via da soli alla scoperta della grande Carnival Magic, da soli senza imposizioni di alcun genere, liberi di visitare tutta la nave e pranzare all’ora che preferivamo al buffet.
Non ci attendevamo tanta disponibilità, ma ne siamo stati veramente felici.
Veronica l’amministratore di Leip TV, Barbara e Eros operatori e registi della giornata ed io, ci siamo immersi in quel mondo fantastico che è la scoperta di una nuova nave, gustandoci ogni particolare e non perdendo nemmeno un attimo di quello che la vita di bordo poteva offrire.
A mio parere solo immergendosi nella favola, abbandonandosi a quel mondo così diverso da quello che s’è lasciato a terra, si riesce a trasmettere in un video di pochi minuti l’emozione necessaria per coinvolgere lo spettatore.
L’intervista allo Chef è stata finalizzata alla conoscenza tecnica dei dettagli del servizio ristorazione di bordo, mentre l’incontro con John Heald, ci ha fatto comprendere il perchè questo Direttore di Crociera è diventato un personaggio pubblico di rilievo.
John è sicuramente un uomo dal carisma non comune , non abbandona mai il suo mestiere da mattatore, nemmeno quando si parla di cose serie ed importanti, John riesce con la sua innata capacità comunicativa,
a rendere il discorso brillante e mai banale.
Ringraziamo Jhon per averci accolti con simpatia e gli rinnoviamo il nostro arrivederci a presto a Savona, abbiamo in mente una bellissima sorpresa per tutti voi che vi sveleremo il 27 settembre.

The service at our arrival on board was extraordinary.
Anna, the Guest Relations Manager,was at our complete disposal and was of an extraordinary kindness.
As soon as we were on board she programmed our day on the ship We didn’t think on a disponibility like this and of course we remained a lot surprised and glad.
Veronica, the Administrator of Leiptv, Barbara and Eros, operators and director of the day, and me, Rosalba, assorted in that fantastic world that only the discovery of a new ship can give, any particular that this experience can give trying not to miss any appointment that the ship offered that day, according to me only being inside the atmosphere of a novel.
In the mean time we realised a lots of movies, videos and photos and of course those important interviews.
Anna very kindly offered us something to drink, she communicated us the times fixed for the interview and then she left us alone and free to the discover of this great ship, Carnival Magic, free to go everywhere and visit the ship on our way and to have meal at the time we liked.
Watching a video from this ship is a good way to not thinking for a while about the troubles of the everyday life.
The interview with the Executive Chef was finalised to the better acknowledgement of the details on the restaurant services on board, while the meeting with John Heald permitted us to understand how possible was that, the phenomenon for which he has become such a cruise director and a public man. John is a man of an extraordianry carismatic personality. He never abandon his job as a showman, really never, specially not when he speaks on serious way of important matters.
We grant John to be very kind to receive us with precious kindness and we renew to him our farewell in Savona for the next call. We are thinking on a big surprise for all of you, but we’ll speak officially only the next Sept., 27th.
