The highlights of the AIDA World Cruise 2027
Spectacular natural wonders and iconic metropolises define this extraordinary route: The transit of the legendary Panama Canal, four crossings of the equator, the breathtaking passage around the Cape of Good Hope, and a side trip to the Great Barrier Reef are among the highlights. Colorful festivals and cultural diversity ensure unforgettable experiences – from Carnival in Rio to the spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration in Sydney. Eleven nights in global cities like New York, San Francisco, and Singapore offer ample opportunity for immersive experiences. For the first time on an AIDA world cruise, Panama City, Kailua-Kona in Hawaii, and Brisbane, Airlie Beach, and Townsville in Australia will be included in the itinerary.
New York & Boston/USA – no one sleeps here
Skyscrapers, world-famous landmarks, a sense of freedom, and countless superlatives: The Big Apple is much more than just a city – it’s an experience! Everything here seems bigger and more exciting. A journey through history awaits visitors in Boston, the “Athens of America,” where art and culture, history and modernity merge into a fascinating mix.
Panama City/Panama – Gateway Between Worlds
Panama City is considered the vibrant heart of Central America: a modern skyline on the Pacific coast, colorful alleyways and the charming atmosphere of the Casco Viejo (Old Town), and just outside the city, lush jungle teeming with sloths, monkeys, and numerous bird species. The Panama Canal is a technical masterpiece and a symbol of exploration. The AIDAdiva cruise ship glides through this “eighth wonder of the world,” connecting oceans, with its passengers.
Hawaiian Islands/USA – Heaven on Earth
O’ahu, Maui, Hawaii… even the names of these dream islands evoke wanderlust, paradisiacal nature, and picturesque beaches. A swim under the Waimea Falls or a swimming adventure with majestic rays sounds just as enticing. Visitors to Honolulu experience just how relaxed a big city can be. The easygoing nature of the people here is truly infectious.
Sydney/Australia – 3, 2, 1… Happy New Year!
Sydney is one of the first major cities to kick off the new year – and right in the thick of it are the guests of the AIDA World Cruise! Of course, Australia’s largest city has much more to offer than just the party of the year. Whether sightseeing, shopping, stunning beaches, or the fascinating hinterland: Sydney and the other Australian ports of Brisbane, Airlie Beach, Townsville, Cairns, and Darwin will awaken the hearts of explorers.
Singapore and Bali / Southeast Asia – so beautifully different
Singapore is simply wow! In this city-state, Hindu temples meet glittering skyscrapers and fairytale-like green oases. For foodies, Chinatown with its street food stalls is a must. Afterwards, Bali will enchant you with picturesque powder-white beaches, tropical nature, and mystical jungle.
Cape of Good Hope Passage – legendary among explorers
After an overnight stay in sunny Port Elizabeth, the journey to Cape Town leads along the legendary Cape of Good Hope. Many seafaring legends are associated with the rugged cliffs and wild landscape. At Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa, the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet without mixing! With a bit of luck, you might even spot a whale fin or two.
Rio de Janeiro/Brazil – Carnival & Copacabana
Whether you’re a carnival enthusiast or not, the Rio Carnival is incomparable. The whole city celebrates, the streets dance and are filled with samba rhythms, colorful costumes, music, and joie de vivre. In comparison, the world-famous Copacabana beach seems almost relaxed. Here, visitors can sunbathe, soak up the vibrant atmosphere, and enjoy the most delicious caipirinhas in the world.
