MSC POESIA SALPA DA SEATTLE PER LA PRIMA STAGIONE IN ALASKA DI MSC CROCIERE

Ginevra, 12 maggio 2026 – Nella giornata di ieri, lunedì 11 maggio, MSC Crociere ha raggiunto un nuovo traguardo con la partenza di MSC Poesia da Seattle, negli Stati Uniti, per la sua prima crociera in Alaska. Questo viaggio segna il debutto di MSC Crociere nella regione, offrendo agli ospiti l’opportunità di esplorare gli straordinari paesaggi dell’Alaska nel corso della stagione estiva, con itinerari disponibili fino a settembre.

La MSC Poesia, recentemente rinnovata, offre ora il nuovissimo MSC Yacht Club, l’esclusivo concept “nave nella nave” della Compagnia, insieme a nuovi ristoranti e a strutture wellness e fitness ancora più moderne. La partenza di ieri da Seattle segna ufficialmente l’inizio della stagione estiva inaugurale della nave in Alaska e apre un nuovo entusiasmante capitolo per MSC Crociere.
La nave partirà ogni settimana dal suo homeport di Seattle offrendo itinerari di sette notti con scali a Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point e Juneau in Alaska (USA), oltre a Victoria (Canada). Le crociere includeranno anche la navigazione panoramica attraverso lo spettacolare fiordo di Endicott Arm, con vista sul ghiacciaio Dawes.
MSC Poesia tornerà in Alaska anche per la stagione estiva del prossimo anno, ad aprile 2027, con itinerari già disponibili per la prenotazione.
Nell’ambito del proprio impegno verso operazioni responsabili in Alaska, MSC Crociere collaborerà con ORCA per sostenere la ricerca marina, con un esperto a bordo di MSC Poesia durante l’alta stagione delle balene per guidare la formazione dell’equipaggio, l’educazione degli ospiti e offrire approfondimenti sulla fauna marina dell’Alaska.

Oltre all’MSC Yacht Club, gli interventi di rinnovamento della nave includono una MSC Aurea Spa aggiornata, il moderno MSC Gym powered by Technogym®, un Gentleman’s Barber e nuovi spazi dedicati all’allenamento.
Gli ospiti in viaggio verso l’Alaska potranno inoltre cenare in due nuovi ristoranti di specialità: Butcher’s Cut, un’autentica steakhouse in stile americano, e Kaito Sushi Bar, dove sarà possibile gustare sushi preparato da esperti e raffinati piatti autentici asiatici.
Gli ospiti potranno inoltre godere di un programma culinario arricchito e ispirato ai sapori della regione, con proposte gastronomiche e beverage create appositamente per le crociere MSC in Alaska: piatti tipici locali, un’ampia selezione di seafood, bevande calde e cocktail ispirati al territorio accompagneranno gli ospiti per tutta la crociera.
Per tutta la stagione in Alaska, MSC Poesia offrirà inoltre un programma di intrattenimento ancora più ricco, con protagonista “Dirty Dancing: In Concert”, una produzione live-to-film con cantanti, ballerini e una band dal vivo che si esibiranno accompagnando il celebre film. Gli ospiti potranno inoltre divertirsi con musica dal vivo, feste a tema, spettacoli comici, attività per famiglie, oltre a conferenze di esperti, esperienze panoramiche narrate e workshop interattivi ispirati alla fauna, alla geografia e alla cultura della regione.
Dopo settembre, MSC Poesia verrà riposizionata per offrire crociere caraibiche andata e ritorno durante l’inverno 2026/2027, prima di tornare in Alaska per la stagione estiva 2027. Tra una stagione e l’altra, la nave proporrà le crociere MSC Grand Voyage attraverso l’iconico Canale di Panama tra Miami e Seattle.

Geneva, Switzerland – May 12, 2026 – MSC Cruises marked a new milestone yesterday (Monday May 11) as MSC Poesia departed Seattle, United States, on her first sailing to Alaska – MSC Cruises’ first time in this region, offering guests the chance to experience the region’s breathtaking scenery through to September.
The newly upgraded MSC Poesia, which now features a brand-new MSC Yacht Club, the cruise line’s luxury “ship-within-a-ship” concept, along with new dining venues and enhanced wellness and fitness facilities, departed Seattle yesterday, officially launching her inaugural summer season and marking a new chapter for MSC Cruises.
MSC Poesia departs weekly from her homeport in Seattle and offers seven-night itineraries calling at Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point and Juneau in Alaska (US) along with Victoria (Canada). Sailings also include scenic cruising through stunning Endicott Arm fjord, for views of Dawes Glacier.
MSC Poesia will return to Alaska for next year’s summer season in April 2027, with itineraries already available to book.
As part of its commitment to responsible operations in Alaska, MSC Cruises is partnering with ORCA to support marine research, with an expert onboard MSC Poesia during peak whale season to lead crew training, guest education and insights into Alaska’s marine wildlife.

In addition to the MSC Yacht Club, the ship’s enhancements include an upgraded MSC Aurea Spa, cutting-edge MSC Gym powered by Technogym®, a Gentleman’s Barber, and new workout studios.
Guests sailing to Alaska can also dine in two new speciality dining venues – Butcher’s Cut, an authentic American-style steakhouse, and Kaito Sushi Bar – where guests can savour expertly crafted sushi and exquisite authentic Asian dishes.
Guests will also get to enjoy an enhanced culinary programme inspired by the region, with tailored dining and beverage offerings created specifically for MSC Cruises’ sailings in Alaska – from hearty regional cuisine, expanded seafood selections, warming beverages and regional-inspired cocktails throughout the voyage.
MSC Poesia will also feature enhanced entertainment throughout the Alaska season, highlighted by “Dirty Dancing: In Concert,” a live-to-film production featuring singers, dancers and a live band performing alongside the iconic movie. Guests will also enjoy live music, themed parties, comedy performances, family activities as well as expert talks, narrated scenic experiences and interactive workshops inspired by the region’s wildlife, geography and culture.
After September, MSC Poesia will reposition to offer round trip sailings in the Caribbean for Winter 2026/2027 before returning to Alaska for her 2027 summer season. Between the seasons the ship offers MSC Grand Voyage sailings through iconic Panama Canal between Miami and Seattle.
