On November 8, 2025, AIDA Cruises will celebrate a triple season opening – with AIDAprima in Kiel, with AIDAnova in Hamburg and with AIDAcosma in the Canary Islands.
In 2025/2026, Kiel will be the starting and destination port for winter cruises for AIDA Cruises for the first time. By positioning AIDAprima in Kiel, AIDA is further developing the port on the Kiel Fjord into a year-round cruise destination. The new program, with voyages to Northern Europe, Scandinavia, the Baltic Sea, and a “Big Winter Break in the Canary Islands,” offers diverse routes from Germany without flights and appeals to both those seeking relaxation and active vacationers. The program includes festively decorated cities during Advent, wintry fjords in Norway, and short trips to Scandinavian metropolises.
The first call during the winter season in Kiel on November 8, 2025, will be celebrated with a special opening voyage featuring star guest Michael Mittermeier . Mittermeier is considered a co-founder of the German stand-up comedy scene. The seven-time winner of the German Comedy Award will celebrate his 40th stage anniversary next year. Before that, the operator of Munich’s “Lucky Punch Comedy Club” will present the finest punchlines for the season opening on AIDAprima.
AIDAnova’s first port call in Hamburg in the coming winter season will also be on November 8, 2025. Trips to these major cities and cruises to southern Norway are already popular choices for winter getaways. Matthias Reim is expected as a special guest star on the first voyage. The pop legend has shaped the German music scene for over 30 years. “Verdammt ich lieb dich,” “Nur geträumt von Dir,” and “Hey, ich hab’ mich so auf Dich gefre” are just a few of his hits that invariably get every party going. Matthias Reim and his band will rock the Theatrium on AIDAnova.
AIDAcosma completes the triple bill on November 8th: To kick off the AIDA Canary Islands cruises, guests can also experience a musical star guest live on board AIDAcosma. Latin pop singer Alvaro Soler will perform twice in the Theatrium and delight audiences with his soulful songs. Alvaro Soler is now highly sought after not only on stage but also as a jury member on TV shows. With over 150 gold and platinum awards, the Barcelona-born musician is one of the most successful Latin pop stars in Europe. In addition to the star guest, the “Islands of Eternal Spring” also convey Spanish flair. The Canary Islands are a magnet for anyone looking to escape the winter at home for a few mild, sunny days. AIDA Cruises eröffnet die Wintersaison mit Stargästen
Am 8. November 2025 feiert AIDA Cruises gleich dreifache Saisoneröffnung – mit AIDAprima in Kiel, mit AIDAnova in Hamburg und mit AIDAcosma auf den Kanaren.
Kiel wird 2025/2026 erstmals zum Start- und Zielhafen für Kreuzfahrten im Winter für AIDA Cruises. Mit der Positionierung von AIDAprima in Kiel entwickelt AIDA den Hafen an der Kieler Förde zu einer ganzjährigen Kreuzfahrtdestination weiter. Das neue Programm mit Reisen nach Nordeuropa, Skandinavien, in die Ostsee sowie zu einer „Große Winterpause Kanaren“ bietet vielseitige Routen ab Deutschland ohne Flug und spricht sowohl Erholungssuchende als auch Aktivurlauber an. Auf dem Programm stehen festlich geschmückte Städte im Advent, winterliche Fjorde in Norwegen oder Kurztrips in skandinavische Metropolen.
Der Erstanlauf in der Wintersaison in Kiel am 8. November 2025 wird mit einer besonderen Auftaktreise mit Stargast Michael Mittermeier gefeiert.
