TUI Cruises pubblica il suo nuovo modello di commissione per Mein Schiff. Con le condizioni di vendita aggiornate per l’anno finanziario 2024, per la prima volta la compagnia di spedizioni non solo paga una commissione sull’importo delle vendite, ma premia anche i partner commerciali per la vendita della tariffa PRO e l’acquisizione di nuovi clienti.

TUI Cruises publishes its new commission model for Mein Schiff. With the updated sales conditions for the 2024 financial year, for the first time the shipping company is not only paying commission on the amount of sales, but also rewarding sales partners for selling the PRO tariff and winning new customers. In concrete terms, this means: If you sell a voyage in the PRO tariff to a new Mein Schiff customer, you will receive 11% from the first booking and up to 14% are possible at peak times. Irrespective of the booked tariff, TUI Cruises rewards the acquisition of new customers for Mein Schiff with a 2% bonus commission. Since TUI Cruises offers a premium product with Mein Schiff, the relatively high shopping baskets already ensure high commissions for the travel agencies.
With the new Mein Schiff sales conditions 2024, TUI Cruises wants to start the new financial year 2024 with full force together with the agencies. Because it will be a special year: With the Mein Schiff 7, the fleet will grow to seven feel-good ships. The associated higher capacities also offer sales partners the opportunity to increase sales and more commission. “We fully rely on the power of stationary sales. The travel agency is and will remain our most important sales channel,” says Clas Eckholt, Vice President Commercial. “With our commission model, which pays extra for targeted advice, we want to support our sales partners in the best possible way in their advice for Mein Schiff and grow together with them,” Eckholt continues. The Mein Schiff sales conditions 2024 apply to all single seat bookings from September 1st, 2023 with departure from January 1st, 2024 up to and including December 31st, 2024. The Mein Schiff group conditions will be published at a later date and automatically sent to the sales partners.
Marketing campaign and PoS campaigns draw customers into the travel agency
With the largest Mein Schiff marketing campaign to date in the DACH region, which starts on September 1st, 2024, takes place on all relevant channels and is supplemented at the PoS with sales-supporting materials, TUI Cruises ensures that the Sales partners will make many good deals right at the beginning of the new Mein Schiff sales conditions. “Regardless of whether it’s cinema, TV, out-of-home, print, social media, innovative targeting formats or in a travel agency – no one interested in cruises can avoid Mein Schiff in September. The travel agency partners will benefit noticeably from and with this campaign, which will massively push sales,” promises Eckholt.
Sales support − Mein Schiff sales team is growing
The Mein Schiff sales team has been strengthened in recent weeks by three competent and experienced employees as direct contacts for the travel agencies. This means that six sales managers are currently available to support the counter partners with tips and tricks for jointly generating sales. Two more positions are still to be filled. Whether training courses, webinars or a roadshow in autumn with 12 dates in Germany. From now on it’s time again: full speed ahead.
