CARNIVAL VENEZIA ENTRA UFFICIALMENTE NELLA FLOTTA CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE
Carnival Venezia è ufficialmente entrata a far parte della flotta Carnival Cruise Line oggi. Questa mattina a Cadice, in Spagna, il Capitano di Costa Tihomir Muzic ha consegnato la nave al Capitano di Carnival Claudio Cupisti, alla presenza di altri dirigenti di entrambe le compagnie.
“Siamo così lieti di dare il benvenuto alla flotta di Carnival Venezia, che dopo un bacino di carenaggio debutterà come la nostra prima nave ‘Fun Italian Style’ a maggio”, ha dichiarato Christine Duffy, presidente di Carnival Cruise Line. “Un grande ringraziamento a tutti, dalla nostra linea gemella Costa e a tutti coloro che all’interno della famiglia Carnival lavoreranno per aggiungere i tocchi Carnival a questa nave nei prossimi due mesi”.
Carnival Venezia partirà per il suo Carnival Journeys transatlantico di 15 giorni salpando da Barcellona il 29 maggio 2023 e inizierà la crociera tutto l’anno dal Manhattan Cruise Terminal di New York il 15 giugno 2023. È disponibile un’ampia gamma di opzioni di navigazione , con 10 diverse durate di crociera e 22 itinerari unici con visite a 25 porti in 14 paesi. Costruito nel 2019, Carnival Venezia può ospitare fino a 5.145 ospiti e 1.393 membri dell’equipaggio di Carnival.
Quando gli ospiti saliranno a bordo per la prima volta di Carnival Venezia, saranno immediatamente circondati dal design architettonico italiano sia all’interno che all’esterno. Il bellissimo atrio della nave è modellato sulla piazza principale di Venezia, Piazza San Marco, mentre il ponte del Lido trae ispirazione dalla riviera italiana con un tetto retrattile per consentire agli ospiti di godersi la piscina tutto l’anno.
La nave introdurrà molte nuove offerte di cibi e bevande alla flotta Carnival dove gli ospiti potranno assaporare i sapori italiani, tra cui La Strada Grill con il classico cibo di strada italiano, un ristorante fusion messicano Tomodoro, un bar simile ad Alchemy Amari, e Frizzante, che serve una varietà di bevande frizzanti, dal prosecco agli spritz e ai bellini, insieme a birra italiana, autentici caffè italiani e biscotti.
Carnival Venezia presenterà anche nuovi spazi di intrattenimento di ispirazione italiana, come il Gondola Lounge, progettato pensando ai famosi canali veneziani, e il Carnival Bar & Lounge, che celebra l’eleganza delle mascherate veneziane durante il Carnevale, oltre a nuove attività come il Italian Street Party dove Little Italy incontra il Lido, il brindisi veneziano del Capitano e programmi giovanili di ispirazione italiana per bambini e ragazzi.
La nave ospiterà molte delle attività e delle esperienze che gli ospiti potranno vivere a bordo anche di altre navi Carnival, tra cui Carnival Waterworks, Piano Bar 88, Heroes Tribute Lounge, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Bonsai Sushi & Teppanyaki, Guy’s Burger Joint, Cloud 9 Salon & Spa, Serenity Adult-Only Retreat e Dr. Seuss Bookville.

CARNIVAL VENEZIA OFFICIALLY JOINS THE CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE FLEET
Transitioning from sister line Costa, Carnival Venezia has officially joined the Carnival Cruise Line fleet today. In Cadiz, Spain, this morning, Costa Captain Tihomir Muzic handed over the ship to Carnival Captain Claudio Cupisti, with additional leadership team members from both lines in attendance.
“We are so pleased to welcome Carnival Venezia to the fleet, which following a dry dock, will debut as our first ‘Fun Italian Style’ ship this May,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “A big thank you to everyone from our sister line Costa and all those within the Carnival family who will work to add the Carnival touches to this ship over the next two months.”
Carnival Venezia will depart on her 15-day transatlantic Carnival Journeys sailing from Barcelona on May 29, 2023, and is set to begin year-round cruising from New York’s Manhattan Cruise Terminal on June 15, 2023. A wide range of sailing options are available, with 10 different cruise durations and 22 unique itineraries featuring visits to 25 ports across 14 countries. Built in 2019, Carnival Venezia accommodates up to 5,145 guests and 1,393 Carnival crew members.
When guests first board Carnival Venezia, they will be immediately surrounded by Italian architectural design both inside and out. The ship’s beautiful atrium is modeled after Venice’s main public square, the Piazza San Marco, whereas the Lido deck draws inspiration from the Italian Riviera with a retractable roof to allow guests to still enjoy the pool year-round.
The ship will introduce many new food and beverage offerings to the Carnival fleet where guests can indulge in the flavors of Italy, including La Strada Grill with classic Italian street food, a Mexitalian fusion restaurant Tomodoro, a similar-to-Alchemy-Bar Amari, and Frizzante, serving a variety of bubbly drinks, from prosecco to spritzes and bellinis, along with Italian beer, authentic Italian coffees and biscotti.
Carnival Venezia will also feature new Italian-inspired entertainment spaces, such as the Gondola Lounge, designed with the famous Venetian canals in mind, and the Carnevale Bar & Lounge, celebrating the elegance of Venetian masquerades during Carnevale, as well as new activities like the Italian Street Party where Little Italy meets Lido, the Captain’s Venetian Toast, and Italian-inspired youth programming for kids and teens.
The ship will be home to many of the activities and experiences guests enjoy aboard other Carnival ships as well, including Carnival Waterworks, Piano Bar 88, Heroes Tribute Lounge, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Bonsai Sushi & Teppanyaki, Guy’s Burger Joint, Cloud 9 Salon & Spa, the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat, and Dr. Seuss Bookville.
