MSC CROCIERE ANNUNCIA LA CREAZIONE DI MSC CREATIVE STUDIOS
La Divisione Crociere del gruppo MSC ha acquisito uno studio di produzione in Scozia, attualmente in fase di ristrutturazione per diventare MSC Creative Studios
La nuova struttura sarà un centro dedicato a supportare la crescita dell’intrattenimento e delle produzioni di MSC Crociere ed Explora Journeys
Ginevra, 24 marzo 2026 – MSC Crociere ha annunciato la creazione di MSC Creative Studios, un nuovo hub che sarà dedicato all’intrattenimento e alla formazione degli artisti.
L’azienda ha acquisito uno studio di produzione a Edimburgo, in Scozia, attualmente in fase di ristrutturazione, che sarà pienamente operativo entro luglio 2026, supportando la crescita di spettacoli e produzioni per la stagione di fine 2026 di MSC Crociere ed Explora Journeys.
MSC Creative Studios fungerà da polo centrale per lo sviluppo creativo, riunendo sotto lo stesso tetto team creativi, tecnici e di produzione. La struttura sarà dedicata a prove, formazione tecnica, sviluppo delle arti sceniche e preparazione degli artisti prima del debutto degli spettacoli a bordo.
Nello specifico, lo studio includerà uno spazio ad hoc per prove di discipline aeree, undici sale danza, sei studi vocali, uno studio tecnico di registrazione, uffici e camerini, spogliatoi e magazzini per scenografie, oggetti di scena e costumi.
Disporre di una sede dedicata allo sviluppo e alla formazione dell’intrattenimento rappresenta un elemento strategico per sostenere l’espansione e l’evoluzione delle produzioni. Una struttura all’avanguardia consente di garantire che ogni spettacolo sia pronto al debutto e realizzato secondo i più elevati standard qualitativi, consolidando al contempo l’impegno a lungo termine della Divisione Crociere verso l’innovazione nell’offerta di bordo.
MSC Creative Studios si configura come uno spazio in cui artisti, tecnici e creativi possono collaborare sin dalle fasi iniziali di ciascun progetto, favorendo un processo creativo integrato e altamente qualificato. Situato a Edimburgo, riconosciuta tra le principali capitali culturali a livello internazionale, lo studio trae ispirazione dalla vivace energia artistica della città. Da questo contesto nascono nuovi concept pensati per arricchire ulteriormente l’esperienza degli ospiti di MSC Crociere ed Explora Journeys, contribuendo a definire nuovi standard nell’intrattenimento.
MSC GROUP’S CRUISE DIVISION UNVEILS LAUNCH OF MSC CREATIVE STUDIOS
Geneva, Switzerland – March 16, 2026 – MSC Group’s Cruise Division is taking entertainment to the next level with the creation of MSC Creative Studios, designed to help deliver world-class entertainment experiences to guests.
The Company has acquired a production studio in Edinburgh, Scotland, which is currently undergoing renovation to become MSC Creative Studios – a new dedicated facility for entertainment development and performer training.
The studio is expected to be fully operational by July 2026, supporting the development of shows and productions for MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys’ end of 2026 season and beyond.
The new facility will act as a central hub for creative development, bringing creative, technical and production teams together under one roof.
MSC Creative Studios will include a dedicated aerial rehearsal space, eleven dance studios, six vocal studios, a technical recording studio, offices and green rooms, changing facilities, and storage for scenery, props and costumes.
This facility will support rehearsals, technical training, stagecraft development and performer preparation prior to shows being launched on board.
