Mein Schiff 7: Start of booking for the christening voyage of the new fleet member
Hamburg, April 18, 2024. With the theme “The seventh heaven at sea,” the name of Mein Schiff 7 will be ceremoniously awarded during the christening voyage from June 21 to 23, 2024. The godmother, environmental officer Fenia Kalachani, comes from the Hamburg cruise company’s own ranks and represents the entire Mein Schiff crew – on board and on land. The baptism trip through the Danish South Seas can now be booked. “We are on the home stretch and are looking forward to naming the Mein Schiff 7 together with the crew and our guests. On the Mein Schiff 7 we will inspire with the new concepts and offer unforgettable feel-good cruises with many highlights,” says Wybcke Meier, CEO TUI Cruises.The youngest member of the fleet is a sister ship to Mein Schiff 1 and Mein Schiff 2 and is currently being built at the Finnish Meyer shipyard in Turku. Just like the entire Mein Schiff fleet, the new building also promises guests a very special feeling of well-being and premium travel at the highest level. A new feature on the Mein Schiff 7 are the cabin categories for solo travelers: 12 single cabins outside and 14 single cabins inside offer individual freedom with plenty of storage space and a unique feel-good atmosphere.
Culinary on cloud 7 with the new Mein Schiff 7
With the new Café Central on deck 5 comes a concept on board the Mein Schiff 7 that combines enjoyment and relaxation in a unique way. In the great freedom of the Mein Schiff 7, the exclusive is created Asia & Sushi Restaurant Hideki, where guests can immerse themselves in the culinary world of Asia at lunchtime and in the evening and watch the sushi masters conjure up wonderful variations at the open counter in the middle of the restaurant. A material mix of polished surfaces and warm wood gives this special place a modern yet cozy atmosphere.The new Italian restaurant La Spezia appears to be high-quality Mediterranean, with top-class specialties. Sea views, wooden floors, modern colors and lots of sunlight coming in through the large panoramic windows on Deck 4 of the Große Freiheit create a lively atmosphere. Thanks to Mediterranean decorative elements on the tables and the smell of fresh pizza and pasta, guests will immerse themselves in the Italian lifestyle. At the end of a culinary evening of enjoyment or to toast the feel-good journey, guests can look forward to a newly designed area: guests can reach the new Champagne Treff via a spiral staircase from the Große Freiheit or directly above Deck 6.After the christening voyage, the Mein Schiff 7 will moor again in the port of the Schleswig-Holstein state capital on June 23, 2024 and set off on its first big journey towards Norway. The youngest member of the fleet will sail from/to Kiel towards Nordland in its first summer season and from/to Warnemünde on various Baltic Sea trips from mid-August.

The 2-day christening trip of the Mein Schiff 7 from/to Kiel from June 21st to 23rd, 2024 is available from 699 euros per person in a balcony cabin, with double occupancy in the PRO tariff and 899 euros in an outside single cabin in the PRO tariff with the Mein Schiff premium inclusive services.
