Marseille, 21 May 2024 – PONANT, world leader in luxury exploration cruises, announces the arrival of Nadia Ben SalemNicolas as Group Deputy CEO Finance and Administration at PONANT, starting on 13 May 2024.
Nadia Ben Salem-Nicolas, 44, is a Sciences Po Paris and ESSEC graduate. She began her career in investment banking at Lazard and Goldman Sachs before taking on key responsibilities in the finance departments of the certification services group Bureau Veritas then at Danone. Before joining PONANT, she was Deputy Chief Officer in charge of finance at Nexity, France’s leader in real estate development.
In her new role, Nadia Ben Salem-Nicolas will draw on her experience to reinforce support functions to underpin the PONANT Group’s overall economic performance. She will help steer PONANT’s ‘Explore to Inspire’ growth strategy. Her responsibilities include managing finance, legal, purchasing and logistics, as well as internal audit control and risk management.
