SWAN HELLENIC ANNUNCIA LA CONSEGNA DELLA SUA TERZA NAVE: SH DIANA
La più grande delle tre unità dell’elegante flotta Swan Hellenic sta attualmente facendo rotta verso il Mediterraneo, dove è cominciata la storia delle crociere di spedizione culturale
Nicosia, Cipro: Oggi, martedì 4 aprile 2023, Swan Hellenic ha annunciato di avere preso in consegna lo scorso 31 marzo la SH Diana, la più nuova delle tre navi della flotta che sta navigando ora nel Mar Baltico e nella notte attraverserà il Canale di Kiel.
SH Diana sta facendo rotta verso Palermo da dove comincerà la sua crociera inaugurale intitolata “Mysteries of Carthage and the Moors “(I misteri di Cartagine e dei Mori), che porterà i suoi ospiti ad esplorare alcune delle località più affascinanti del Nord Africa prima di attraversare le “Colonne d’Ercole” verso Siviglia e Lisbona.
Dalla capitale portoghese il 25 aprile partirà il viaggio di nove notti “Historic Ports of the Western Seaboard” (I porti storici della costa occidentale) durante i quali SH Diana costeggerà la Spagna, la Francia, il Belgio e i Paesi Bassi fino ad Amsterdam.
Ad Amsterdam, il prossimo 4 maggio, avrà luogo la cerimonia di battesimo della nave, per la quale è stato scelto un nome tradizionale con un tocco di modernità: madrina d’eccezione dell’evento sarà Valerie Wilson. Sarà questa autentica icona statunitense dei viaggi di lusso negli Stati Uniti a dare il via in grande stile alla stagione di crociere tra i fiordi scandinavi e nelle regioni artiche di SH Diana.

Tutte le navi dispongono ciascuna di 3 punti di ristoro – lo Swan Restaurant, il Club Lounge e il Pool Bar & Grill – e sono state costruite nel pieno rispetto dei requisiti SOLAS per il rientro in porto in sicurezza. Dedicati agli ospiti con la passione per l’avventura e l’esplorazione culturale, gli itinerari della compagnia pianificati nei minimi dettagli esplorano i paesaggi selvaggi, la fauna selvatica, i popoli e le culture uniche delle regioni meno battute del mondo.

Swan Hellenic announces delivery of third state-of-the-art expedition ship: SH Diana
Third and largest ship in the elegant ice-class Swan Hellenic fleet is now on her way to the Mediterranean, where cultural expedition cruising began
Nicosia, Cyprus: Today, Tuesday the 4th of April: Swan Hellenic today announced that it had taken delivery of SH Diana from the Helsinki Shipyard on Friday the 31st of March, and that its newest and largest ship is en-route in the Baltic and will pass the through the Kiel Canal tomorrow night.
SH Diana is now sailing to Palermo for her inaugural cultural expedition cruise, the ten-night Mysteries of Carthage and the Moors, which will take her guests to explore some of the most fascinating locations in North Africa before crossing the “Pillars of Hercules” to Seville and Lisbon. Departing Lisbon on the 25th of April, the nine-night Historic Ports of the Western Seaboard will see her hugging the coasts of Spain, France, Belgium and the Netherlands to reach Amsterdam.
Here on the 4th of May, a Christening Ceremony with US luxury travel industry icon Valerie Wilson as godmother will take place naming SH Diana in the traditional manner with a modern twist, sending her on her way in style to cruises of the Scandinavian fjords and a full Arctic season.
