Victoria, British Columbia – May 18, 2026 – Yesterday, MSC Poesia arrived in Victoria, British Columbia for the first time as part of MSC Cruises’ inaugural Alaska season. To commemorate the milestone, Greater Victoria Harbour Authority leadership, port stakeholders, community leaders and MSC Cruises leadership participated in a traditional plaque exchange ceremony onboard celebrating the growing partnership between MSC Cruises and the local community.
Ahead of the plaque exchange ceremony, MSC Cruises welcomed members of the Songhees Nation and Esquimalt Nation onboard MSC Poesia to share traditional songs, dances, and spoken word performances with guests, honoring the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and enduring presence of the Nations in the region.
MSC Poesia now serves 7-night itineraries from Seattle to Alaska through September 2026, calling at Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point and Juneau in Alaska, along with Victoria, British Columbia. Sailings also include scenic cruising through Endicott Arm, featuring views of Dawes Glacier and Alaska’s fjord scenery.
