On April 9, 2025, the Mein Schiff Relax, the first new build in the innovative InTUItion ship class, will be ceremoniously christened in Málaga. Against the backdrop of the Andalusian coastal town, TUI Cruises’ feel-good fleet will experience a spectacular christening event with a special appearance by Robbie Williams.For the first time in the history of the Mein Schiff fleet, two sister ships – the Mein Schiff 5 and the Mein Schiff 7 – will accompany the new build as godmothers. Guests of all three ships have the unique opportunity to experience this special moment together.Robbie Williams, international superstar and feel-good ambassador of the Mein Schiff Relax, will give an exclusive open-air concert for TUI Cruises’ 15,000 christening guests. For guests on the christening trips, the Robbie Williams concert and the christening event are already included in the travel price. The Mein Schiff Relax, the first ship in the innovative InTUItion class, promises to take the unmistakable Mein Schiff feeling to a new level, and it is precisely this concept that convinced the international artist to become the ambassador of the Mein Schiff Relax.

Very special moments await the guests of the christening voyages with the Mein Schiff 5, the Mein Schiff 7 and the Mein Schiff Relax under the theme of “Endless moments”. Up until the christening ceremony, the guests of the Mein Schiff 5 and the Mein Schiff 7 already experience a whole wonderful time full of special pleasure, well-being and entertainment experiences. After the start in Palma and the christening event in Málaga, the guests of the Mein Schiff Relax can explore all the innovative new features and create very personal memories with endless moments. Guests on Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 7 will also have the opportunity to get their first impressions of Mein Schiff Relax on their respective ships. For example, culinary innovations from the Relax will also be served on the other two ships. And of course, all guests on the three ships will be able to enjoy the traditional christening dinner or christening cocktail.The Mein Schiff Relax will offer guests an even more varied culinary journey through particularly high-quality worlds of enjoyment, such as Fugu, the new exclusive Asian restaurant with a digital experience concept by Berlin-based star chef Tim Raue. TUI Cruises is also responding even more intensively to the individual needs of cruise travelers in terms of cabins and suites in order to create an incomparable vacation feeling. For example, the Mein Schiff Relax also offers single cabins with balconies for solo travelers for the first time. SPA and wellness are being redefined on the new building, for example with an exclusive barrel sauna with a fantastic sea view.
Three ships and a christening
The Mein Schiff 5 starts its journey in Tenerife, heads for Madeira and Lisbon and sets course for Málaga on April 9 to give its guests the opportunity to experience this special moment. The Mein Schiff 7 begins its journey in Gran Canaria, moors in Fuerteventura the next day and also calls at Málaga on April 9 to attend the unique experience. The two christening voyages of the Mein Schiff Relax begin and end in Palma de Mallorca and go via the Spanish port city of Málaga to Tangier and Gibraltar.
