MSC WORLD AMERICA FEATURED IN TIME’S ANNUAL LIST OF WORLD’S GREATEST PLACES

MIAMI – April 27, 2026 — MSC Cruises announced today that MSC World America has been named on TIME’s annual list of the World’s Greatest Places, which highlights 100 extraordinary destinations to visit and stay around the globe.

To compile this list, TIME solicited nominations of places—including hotels, cruises, restaurants, attractions, museums, parks, and more—from its international network of correspondents and contributors, as well as via an application process, with an eye toward those offering new and exciting experiences.

Designed for the North American market, MSC World America introduces a new approach to cruising, blending European style with American comfort across seven distinct onboard districts. Each district has its own atmosphere, amenities and experiences, allowing guests to shape their time on board — from vibrant entertainment hubs and family-focused spaces to quieter areas designed for relaxation.

The ship features 19 dining venues, including the only Eataly restaurant at sea, alongside a wide range of bars, lounges and entertainment options. Family-friendly highlights include the Family Aventura district and The Harbour, an outdoor park designed for multigenerational fun and home to Cliffhanger, the only overwater swing ride at sea. Onboard entertainment also includes “Dirty Dancing in Concert,” a live production that brings the iconic film to life with music and dancers.

MSC World America sails year-round from Miami on seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, each including a visit to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC Cruises’ private island destination in The Bahamas. Once an industrial sand excavation site, Ocean Cay has been transformed into a marine reserve where guests can enjoy pristine beaches while learning about coral restoration and ocean conservation efforts.
