Nuovi protocolli di Ambassador Cruise Line relativi al Covid-19
Ambassador Cruise Line è lieta di informare che il test Covid-19 prima della partenza non sarà richiesto sulla maggior parte delle partenze* dal 3 aprile in poi. La politica dell’azienda rimane quella di seguire le linee guida stabilite dalle raccomandazioni EU Healthy Gateways e ha apportato questa modifica dopo un’attenta considerazione e discussioni con i suoi consulenti indipendenti e la London Port Health Authority.
Ambassador continua ad avere tassi molto bassi di casi di Covid-19 a bordo e ritiene che sia il momento giusto per allentare l’obbligo di condurre test prima della partenza. In linea con la politica aggiornata, gli ospiti adulti che hanno ricevuto solo due dosi di un vaccino approvato dal Regno Unito potranno ora viaggiare liberamente, senza che sia necessario che gli ospiti di età inferiore ai 18 anni siano stati vaccinati.
Gli ospiti che mostrano sintomi di Covid-19 entro 72 ore dalla partenza sono incoraggiati a fare un test a casa come cortesia per i loro compagni di viaggio e a contattare il proprio fornitore di assicurazione di viaggio se i risultati sono positivi.
Ambassador rimane una delle compagnie di crociera più attente al Covid del settore e continueranno ad essere applicate misure preventive leggere a bordo. Gli ospiti risultati positivi dovranno autoisolarsi fino a quando non saranno risultati negativi per due giorni consecutivi e, mentre l’allontanamento sociale e l’uso della mascherina rimangono a discrezione dei nostri ospiti, la compagnia di crociera richiede cortesemente che le misure continuino a essere rispettate e rispettate ove possibile.
AMBASSADOR CRUISE LINE UPDATES COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
PREMIUM VALUE, NO-FLY CRUISE LINE TO RELAX PRE-CRUISE VACCINATION AND TESTING REQUIREMENTS FROM 3 APRIL 2023
03 March 2023 – Ambassador Cruise Line is pleased to advise that pre-departure Covid-19 testing will not be required on most sailings* from 3 April onwards. The company’s policy remains to follow the guidance set out by the EU Healthy Gateways recommendations, and it has made this change after careful consideration and discussions with its independent advisors and London Port Health Authority.
Ambassador continues to have very low rates of Covid-19 cases on board and believe the time is right to relax the requirement to conduct tests prior to sailing. In line with the updated policy, adult guests who have received two doses only of a UK-approved vaccine will now be able to freely travel, with no requirement for guests under the age of 18 to have been vaccinated. Guests displaying Covid-19 symptoms within 72 hours of departure are encouraged to take a test at home as a courtesy to their fellow travellers and to contact their travel insurance provider if results are positive.
Ambassador remains one of the most Covid-conscious cruise lines in the industry, and light-touch preventative measures will continue to be enforced onboard. Guests testing positive will be required to self-isolate until they have tested negative for two consecutive days, and, while social distancing and mask-wearing remains at our guest’s discretion, the cruise line politely requests that measures continue to be respected and adhered to where possible.
The update to Ambassador’s Covid-19 policy has been shared with all guests due to sail with the cruise line, with the company also advising its trade and agency partners accordingly.
