AMBASSADOR CRUISE LINE INVITES TRADE PARTNERS ABOARD WITH 2024 SHIP VISIT PROGRAMME

  • For the third consecutive year, agents from across the country offered chance to experience a taste of Ambassador at a port that’s close to home

Ambassador Cruise Line has announced the dates for its 2024 UK-wide ship visit programme for trade partners and agents, with registration opening on Thursday 1 February.  The launch follows the introduction of a highly successful inaugural ship visit programme in 2022, which has seen the UK’s leading premium value, no-fly cruise line welcome several hundred agents onboard its fleet of small-to-midsize ships over the last two years.

This 2024 ship visit programme offers trade partners and agents the opportunity to immerse themselves in the ‘Ambassador experience’ onboard both Ambience and her sister ship, Ambition (launched last May) at one of eight regional ports in the UK:  London Tilbury, Newcastle, Dundee, Edinburgh Leith, Liverpool, Belfast, Bristol and Falmouth. Each ship visit will see trade visitors welcomed by the trade team, followed by a short verbal introduction to the brand, its premium value offering and an overview of the types of sailing offered, from adult-only sailings aimed at the 50+ market to selected multigenerational cruises. Agents will then embark on a full ship tour before enjoying a delicious four course lunch or, in some cases, Afternoon Tea.

Nicola Harper, Head of Distribution at Ambassador Cruise Line, said: “For the third consecutive year, we are delighted to launch our popular ship visit programme. We know there is nothing like seeing and experiencing a product first-hand, and the overwhelming success of our 2023 ship visits proved that there is still a huge appetite within the agent community to get a taste of the ‘warmest welcome at sea’. With 13 ship visits planned in ports across the country in 2024, the whole Ambassador trade team is looking forward to welcoming over 500 valued trade partners and friends onboard Ambience and Ambition as we showcase our incredible premium-value offering.”

To register for a trade visit, from 1 February agents should complete Ambassador’s online form via the Trade Partners area on the website: https://www.ambassadorcruiseline.com/travel-partners/login/.  To register for a group visit, agents or operators can mail groupsales@ambassadorcruiseline.com for a registration form.
