Godja Sönnichsen, Director Communications since 2012, is leaving TUI Cruises. The departure is at your own request and for personal reasons. Lars Nielsen will take over her duties until further notice.
Wybcke Meier, CEO TUI Cruises: “Over the last eleven years, Godja Sönnichsen has established and expanded communications for TUI Cruises and has significantly shaped the positive image of the company: She accompanied the growth of the Mein Schiff fleet, including through successful media positioning of the six new ships of the Mein Schiff brand, and she designed the merger communication of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. Most recently, she steered the company through the turbulent waters of the pandemic and implemented the communication strategy for the successful comeback. We regret that Godja is leaving us, we would like to thank her very much for her great commitment and the excellent, long-term cooperation and wish her all the best for the rest of her life.”
